Many of you may remember Brian McCord (class of 1991). He was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at age 3. He has battled this disease his whole life. Over the last few years, his health has taken a toll on him. For over the last three years, he has been on dialysis three days a week while waiting for a kidney transplant. On March 12, 2010 Brian received his kidney!!!!! The transplant went well and he is getting stronger and stronger each day. Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. Brian has medicare and a supplemental insurance to help him assist with his medical bills and his medication, but only for so long. Now that he has had the transplant, he will have to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of his life. These drugs can be VERY expensive each month. The money raised from the tournaments is to help defray the cost of his monthly medication once the insurance runs out.

On behalf of Brian, the Mccord family, and all his friends, we THANK YOU, all of you, who participated, played or donated to last years tournament and we are looking forward to an AWESOME second tournament!!!

Payment can be made either by pay pal here on this website, or you can send a check to Sherry McCord at the address on this website. The payment must be received to RESERVE your spot in the tournament. We almost had the maximum amount of players the course would let us have last year so dont wait to reserve your spot!!!

If any of you wish to play, sponsor a hole, give a monetary donation, donate an item for the silent auction, or assist in any way during the tournament, please contact us or sign up here.

BUT....SAVE THE DATE: September 25TH, 2010. The tournament will be held at Southwyck Golf Club in Pearland, Texas.

Brian is 37 years old and has two wonderful boys. Wesley is 12 and Randall is 9. If you can not donate or participate in the tournament, any volunteers are welcome.
